No more image attachments - A new feature from Gmail

My last post was about jetbytes.com. A time saving technique for sending attachments in email. Now I am going a step further. A new technique to save receiver’s time on downloading attached photographs/images.
Use this new feature from Gmail called “inserting images”.

Now you need not attach images in email and separate them from the original message.

How to activate this?

1. Login to your Gmail account.
2. Click on Settings (Tab on the right hand top corner)
3. Select “Labs”
4. Turn on “Inserting images” feature.
5. Make sure that you are in “rich formatting mode”

How to embed image in email?

Option I -
1.Click on the image icon as shown in picture.
2.Browse to the location of the image file and upload it.

Option II
1.If the image is somewhere on the web, simply provide it’s URL.

Done. Now you have added an image in your email content.

Note-

Receiver’s of the mail have to click "Disable images below" or "Always display images from ..." to see images you embed.
